The Textile Summit 2026 will be held on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. Designed as an intensive one-day national forum, the event will conclude with an evening networking reception.
This year’s edition will be highly interactive, convening over 200 leaders and experts from government institutions, international organizations, and industry stakeholders to advance sustainability, sectoral development, and innovation within Cambodia’s Garment, Footwear, and Travel Goods (GFT) industry.
The 2026 Summit will be co-hosted by the Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), International Labour Organization (ILO), Better Factories Cambodia, and The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), with logistics and communication support from EuroCham Cambodia.
A key highlight of the event will be its integrated format—featuring a high-level regulatory keynote address alongside strategic panel discussions—carefully curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the GFT sector. The program is designed to deliver clear insights, forward-looking strategies, and actionable outcomes for industry stakeholders.
Key features of the Forum include:
- Presenting a comprehensive industry overview, including updates on regulatory frameworks, national compliance requirements, emerging development strategies for the GFT Sector, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and skills development framework.
- Providing updates on logistics and operational matters, including customs clearance fees and Renewable Energy Certificates (REC).
- Showcasing best practices in Circularity and Textile Waste Management
- Exploring other social compliance, including the new Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Law, Gender-Based Violence and Harassment (GBVH), and Heat Stress.
The Textile Summit 2026 aims to serve as a pivotal platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic alignment—strengthening Cambodia’s position as a competitive and sustainable leader in the global GFT industry.
