In light of the increasing international standards deriving from new mandatory laws on human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) across the globe, companies are subject to due diligence duties in their global supply chains to analyze, prevent and address negative impacts of their business activities on people and the environment.
The RBH in Cambodia is part of a global network of RBHs, since GIZ is promoting the implementation of HREDD also in Vietnam,Ā Bangladesh and Serbia to support local manufacturers on sustainability and due diligence related topics. More countries will be following.
