? Are you aware of the expansion of the German Supply Chain Act?
The German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (#LkSG) came into force on 1 January 2023. The law regulates the responsibility of German enterprises to respect #humanrights in global supply chains. Since then, the law has applied to companies with at least 3,000 employees. From 1 January 2024, companies with more than 1,000 employees must comply with the requirements of the #LkSG.
? This means that more companies are likely to request information from their suppliers worldwide.
