Designed for staff in supplier and manufacturing companies – especially in sustainability, HR, and compliance roles – the course provides hands-on knowledge and tools to implement Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD). It covers key concepts and regulatory expectations for suppliers to Multi-National-Enterprises and shows, through interactive content and real-world case studies, how responsible business practices can be integrated effectively.
📚 Course modules:
▪️ Module 1: Foundations of HREDD — principles, legislations, risks & impacts
▪️ Module 2: Due diligence process — embedding Responsible Business Conduct, risk assessment, mitigation & prevention, grievance mechanisms, monitoring & reporting
▪️ Module 3 (optional): Country-specific contents and case studies from Cambodia, Turkey, Pakistan, Serbia, Vietnam, Mexico, Tunisia, Bangladesh (co-developed with members of our Network BKMEA, Brand BGMEA, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Consejo Coordinador Empresarial MX Oficial, FPCCI – Official Page, Privredna komora Srbije / Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, utica, TURKONFED – Turkish Business Confederation, EuroCham Cambodia)
▪️ Module 4 (optional): Responsible Contracting to support HREDD efforts (co-developed with the Responsible Contracting Project)
▪️ Module 5: Final Assessment including a certificate for passing the final test and Action Steps to the process.
