The Responsible Business Hub will attend the “EU Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum” taking place in Bangkok, Thailand from 6th to 9th June 2023. During the event, the RBH will conduct a side-session titled “Fostering Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence: Assessing the Influence of Responsible Business Hubs in Asian Textile and Garment Supply Chains.”
On May 16, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh,Ā Global Fashion Agenda,Ā GIZ, andĀ RBHĀ held aĀ Circular Fashion & Textiles seminarĀ to discuss ways toĀ value textile waste and develop circular business modelsĀ in the fashion and footwear industries that benefit Cambodia.
BFC and TAFTAC co-hosted a productive two-day Business Forum on March 15-16, 2023. The RBH had the chance to present itself and its services, by delivering a presentation about practical aspects for factories to conduct due diligence process and mitigate risks.
On 10th March,Ā UNICEFĀ andĀ Save the ChildrenĀ hosted theĀ Childrenās Rights and Business Principles 10th Anniversary ForumĀ with public and private sector representatives to promote and make a renewed commitment for championing childrenās rights.
TheĀ Responsible Business Hub (based in Eurocham), in collaboration with the Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association (CWEA)Ā and theĀ International Labor Organization (ILO), host the Breakfast Talk event focused on “Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace”.
The RBH had the chance to present itself within a virtual side-session by promoting the implementation of human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) in global apparel supply chains in Cambodia and sharing knowledge and best practices with the other RBHs from Vietnam and Bangladesh.
