Congratulations to the Responsible Business Hub (RBH) for leading a timely and topical CSR Managers’ Forum on 17 October, with the generous support of GIZ FABRIC and the Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association (TAFTAC).

✔️ “From nice to have to “must have” RBH Coordinator Sara Monti gave a great overview of the current and forthcoming Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) regulations from around the globe assess the gap, prioritize actions.

✔️ Jaap van der Meer, Senior Advisor for Sustainable Process and Products at ENVAM walked the crowd through sustainable reporting techniques and tips, from preventing corrupt practices and preventing greenwashing to tracing the source of raw materials and supporting local communities.

✔️ Hasso Anwer, from GIZ FABRIC and Sao Kranharoat from CGTI gave an overview of CSR training services offered to factories in collaboration with the RBH, the second program of which will take place on 30 and 31 October and focus on HREDD.

✔️ Ms. Maly Man, WE House Lead, and Ms. Sinal HEAN, Social Sustainability Advisor in the Garment Sector at FABRIC Cambodia represented on social sustainability initiatives including the “ Seth Yerng – Our Rights’ App built for garment workers to raise awareness about workers rights and obligations under the Cambodian labour law. The app can be found on the Google Play store.

✔️ The second segment of the Forum, led by Garment and Sustainability Expert Massimiliano Tropeano, engaged participants in an interactive workshop. This session fostered a deeper understanding of the unique needs, challenges, and triumphs faced by sustainability and compliance managers.
