The Responsible Business Hub (RBH), in collaboration with GIZ FABRIC Cambodia, is delighted to announce the commencement of a training program in partnership with the Cambodian Garment Training Institute (CGTI).
We are pleased to inform you that registrations are now open training session on “Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD)” which is scheduled to take place on January 16th-17th, and 31st half day follow up, 2025 at the CGTI venue.
This program is specifically designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct due diligence, effectively Human Rights and Environmental Due diligence (HREDD) is a concept with growing relevance internationally.
The primary objective of this training is to strengthen the sustainability understanding of garment factories and promote their commitment to responsible business conduct.
During this module, participants will have the basic understanding of the concept of the Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), including an overview of relevant international framework and regulatory requirements, know the elements of HREDD as lined out by the OECD guideline, and understanding how to practically implement due diligence and risks assessment in their own operations, including what tools to use.
