On 24 June, EuroCham Cambodia Executive Director Mr. Martin Brisson, and GIZ Cambodia Head of Project Mr. Hasso Anwer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the continuation of the Responsible Business Hub (RBH) Cambodia and its ongoing membership within the RBH Network.
The MoU helps ensure that the RBH Cambodia continues to act as an advisory and training centre for companies to improve the implementation of responsible business practices and human rights, and environmental due diligence in supply chains in Cambodia.
The RBH are hosted by local chambers and associations in Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Serbia, Mexico, Pakistan, Tunisia and Türkiye. EuroCham Cambodia established the first RBH in Cambodia with the support of GIZ, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in collaboration with the Textile, Apparel, Footwear and Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC).
