The Responsible Business GFT Awards 2024, held on Friday, 22 November at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, was a resounding success, drawing over 150 factories and industry leaders from Cambodia’s Garment, Footwear, and Travel Goods (GFT) sectors. Sponsored by Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc. and Control Union (Cambodia) Co Ltd; the event was hosted by the Garment and Manufacturing Committee of EuroCham, the TAFTAC (Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia) and the Responsible Business Hub. It celebrated the outstanding achievements of businesses that are paving the way for sustainability, innovation, and responsible production in Cambodia’s vital GFT industry.
The awards aimed to highlight and honour the leading factories in the sector, recognising their dedication to fostering sustainable practices, advancing environmental goals, and embracing innovation. The event not only celebrated the award winners but also provided a platform for key stakeholders to come together, share insights, and collaborate on setting new standards for sustainability within Cambodia’s garment and manufacturing industry.
