The Responsible Business Hub supported CGTI in enhancing awareness of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) among their members!
CGTI successfully concluded a two-day training session on 7-8 May for 13 participants on Due Diligence Awareness last week. Here are some key discussions from the course:
• Introduction to HREDD
• Navigating the depth of HREDD process (embed the Responsible Business Conduct into the Policies & Management Systems, identify & assess adverse impacts in the Operations, Supply Chains & Business Relationships, cease, prevent, or mitigate adverse impacts)
• Tracking implementation and results
• Communicating how impacts are addressed
• Cooperation in remediation when appropriate.
